Andrew chairs the board and brings with him extensive experience in commercial and corporate law. StockCo relies on his wise counsel. His innate ability to guide and advise comes through years of experience. Andrew has held senior partner positions in large city practices and now runs his own boutique law firm Morrison Mallett, based in Wellington with an office in Hastings. He brings to StockCo a wealth of knowledge in the agricultural sector where he is an advisor on many industry reforms in the meat, dairy and other primary industry sectors. Andrew also advises many farming ventures and holds numerous other advisory roles.
Marcus has over 20 years experience in agricultural financing. Marcus’ rural background has given him the ability to recognise and deliver to the rural sector the kind of financial tools that farmers now need to move more flexibly to meet market trends. Marcus is recognised in the sector as one of the leading agricultural strategists and is constantly called on to advise the country’s progressive farmers. Marcus is the founding principal of StockCo and has over that period developed the company from being a one person operation focused on financing in Hawke’s Bay, into a team of driven and highly qualified people operating throughout New Zealand and Australia. Prior to establishing StockCo, Marcus had a career in the finance sector as a sharebroker. Marcus is also the managing director of StockCo.
Richard is the CEO of StockCo Australia. He has over 20 years experience in senior management roles in financial services, commodity trading and processing, rural services and distribution. Richard maintains private equity interests in a number of businesses and is also a director of a number of private companies. Richard is a long time member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Director of the Australian Grains Research and Development Corporation, and holds a Master of Business Administration from Bond University.
